Finding the Whole Story, Treating the Whole body, Holistically Restored

Restorative Touch uses a holistic approach grounded in the belief that living organisms have the capability to heal themselves.

Intelligently Designed

All the systems used at RTKC use the same belief that the body was created with special abilities.   All of the approaches are based on holistic therapy grounded in the belief that living organisms have the capability to heal themselves more effectively than any technology used today, combining elements of both Eastern and Western medicine to facilitate healing and growth.

By addressing the entire person rather than one specific issue, RTKC provides a “whole-healthcare” system that promotes emotional, physical and physiological well-being.  Technically this is all of what RTKC does.  Addressing the whole body, holistically, after getting the whole story.

We use a number of techniques, all of which are non-invasive, to help those in treatment tap into the body’s natural system of healing by enhancing communication between bodily systems.  RTKC considers emotional, physical, and environmental influences in order to address the underlying cause of conditions, and using various techniques to activate the brain, restructure the body’s energetic patterns, and promote healing from within.

The Approach

The approach is based on the following principles:

  • The body can heal itself:  RTKC utilizes what is known as the “innate wisdom” of the body to heal itself in order to recover from any and all types of injury.  Just like when you are cut or broken, the innate wisdom of the subconscious understands how to heal the injury without any thought on our part.
  • Stress impacts overall health: Every experience a person goes through contributes to that person’s state of health. Lifestyle, genetics, history, and environment all impact the body’s functioning. Stresses produced by external factors can interfere with the natural communication systems within the body. This interference prevents the body from functioning at its best and can lead to emotional and physical health issues.
  • The body communicates via energetic circuitry: Every aspect of our being—cells, atoms, and neurons—are in communication with each other constantly. Each bodily system communicates via energetic circuitry for optimal functioning. Stress can compromise the circuitry systems (the nervous system, for example) and create chronic breakdown of communication within the “bodymind complex.” Practitioners strive to connect these broken lines and facilitate open communication between all of the elements of the body in order to promote healing from within.

The ABC's of a Session

Ask

  • Practitioners pay attention to what the body is doing in order to decipher information. They "ask" the body questions and get answers by observing how a muscle responds to gentle pressure. This natural biofeedback loop is used to identify and prioritize the healing needs of the body. Questions are also asked so the Practitioner can gather information about a person’s experience and begin to tailor treatment to that person’s specific needs.

Balance

  • After gathering information about the needs of the body, the Practitioner charts and uses tapping to bring balance and enhance communication to the body and mind. Techniques such as tapping of the head, chest, and abdomen are used to signal the brain and heart to prepare to heal and restructure.   Other techniques that can be used are fascia release, muscle repair, hiatal hernia treatment, intestinal valve correction, manual techniques to balance the cranial sacral connection and more.

Communication

  • The entire session is a focus on the attempt to re-link the systems in the body and repair any lines of communication that have been compromised.  More efficient and effective healing is believed to result when systems are restored and energy can flow between them.  Just by bringing awareness to the conscious mind, it can then set to work to restore the proper function of the body.  The session is also summarized and explained to the client.   If there is "homework" or supplementation required, that is also addressed and explained to the client.

Peeling Away the Layers

A practitioner relies on the client’s inherent knowledge, or innate wisdom of the subconscious, to locate the energy links needing repair. A form of biofeedback, a subtle muscle-reflex technique, offers this essential information along with the proper order in which the changes should be made. Addressing all healing in a sequential order is paramount in the energy balancing process.

A session with Restorative Touch is a cumulative process, in that every energy circuit that is corrected in a session builds on those regenerated previously; therefore, the healing continues after a session ends, in the form of brain rewiring and, consequently, improved mental and physical health.

Because the body works by priority, it, therefore, prioritizes what comes up in a session to be addressed first.  Then each session will reveal the next layer that the body mind is ready to resolve.  Just like each session is customized to the client's needs, the number of sessions needed is also variable.
